FIORENTINA TI AMO — A LOVE STORY ONE HUNDRED YEARS LONG
Florence, Italy — August 2026.
There are cities that tell their history through monuments. There are others that preserve it in museums, palaces and works of art. Florence does all of this — and, uniquely, it also carries its history in the heart of a football shirt.
In 2026, ACF Fiorentina celebrates one hundred years of history, and Florence prepares to experience the centenary not merely as a sporting anniversary, but as a collective celebration of identity, memory and belonging.
From the extraordinary heritage of the Renaissance — the Florence of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo — to the contemporary energy of the Stadio, the violet colour has become part of the emotional language of the city.
Fiorentina is not simply a football club. It is a memory shared across generations.
A century of victories and defeats, triumphs and disappointments, celebrations and tears has created something that statistics alone cannot explain: an emotional bond between a city and its team.
The centenary therefore becomes a journey through a hundred years of Florentine life: through the voices of grandparents and children, through historic shirts, legendary players, unforgettable matches, neighbourhoods, cafés, streets and, above all, through the extraordinary theatre of the Curva Fiesole, where football becomes ritual, theatre and collective expression.
The celebrations surrounding 28 and 29 August transform the anniversary into a city-wide moment, with Florence placing the colour violet at the centre of its visual and emotional landscape. The Municipality has described the centenary as an occasion belonging to the entire city and as a moment to preserve memory while transmitting the values of belonging to future generations.
Among the many personal stories surrounding this centenary is that of Davide Parigi, a historic Fiorentina supporter whose relationship with the club spans approximately three decades. His company, Compro Oro Toscana, founded in Florence in 1998, chose to celebrate the centenary through a visual tribute dedicated to the supporters of the Curva.
It is a gesture that speaks the language of Florence: entrepreneurship, territory, craftsmanship, passion and community.
The Curva Fiesole remains one of the most powerful symbols of this emotional universe — a place where rain, joy, disappointment, songs, colours and choreography become part of a collective memory.
Because supporting Fiorentina is not always about winning.
Sometimes it means remaining there when victory seems impossible.
It means suffering together.
Dreaming together.
Celebrating together.
And loving the same colours for an entire lifetime.
One hundred years later, the story continues.
FIORENTINA TI AMO.
One city. One colour. One century. An infinite love.
