WHEN FASHION BECOMES FRAGRANCE.
NICCOLÒ PASQUALETTI
SPECIAL GUEST — PITTI FRAGRANZE 2026
Florence / Italy — 2026
Niccolò Pasqualetti belongs to a new generation of independent Italian fashion voices reshaping the language of contemporary luxury.
A finalist for the LVMH Prize 2024 and Guest Designer of the Summer 2025 edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, the Tuscan-born designer brings his creative universe into a new territory: fragrance.
For Pitti Fragranze 2026, Pasqualetti presents his first fragrance collection through an installation at Stazione Leopolda, transforming fashion into an olfactory experience.
The project extends the aesthetic research that defines his work: sophisticated yet instinctive, rooted in Italian craftsmanship while constantly pushing toward experimentation, ambiguity and new forms of expression.
THE CULTURE OF MADE IN ITALY
Presented in preview at Pitti Fragranze, ahead of its planned October market launch, the Niccolò Pasqualetti fragrance collection emerges from a collaboration with Italian perfumer Cristiano Canali, working within the Milanese headquarters of MANE, one of the major international fragrance composition houses.
The bottles and packaging are likewise entrusted to an Italian company, reinforcing a creative philosophy deeply connected to the culture of Made in Italy.
For Pasqualetti, Italian identity is not a decorative reference. It is a living system of knowledge, materials, craftsmanship and human relationships.
The same principle defines his fashion practice, developed through collaborations with local artisans, predominantly in Tuscany. With fragrance, this approach expands beyond the garment and into a new sensory dimension.
From fabric to skin. From silhouette to scent. From fashion to olfaction.
AN UNEXPECTED EXPERTISE
Translating a fashion vocabulary into fragrance is an inherently complex process.
Here, however, the dialogue between Pasqualetti and Cristiano Canali was built on transparency, exchange and creative trust.
Pasqualetti’s long-standing passion for perfume, cultivated largely as a self-taught discipline, became an unexpected creative asset. His knowledge of raw materials and olfactory culture allowed the project to evolve not as a simple extension of fashion, but as an autonomous language.
The result is a collection conceived to preserve the codes of Pasqualetti’s fashion while giving fragrance its own expressive freedom.
BEYOND UNISEX
The collection comprises three fragrances and introduces into perfumery the same radical inclusivity that informs Pasqualetti’s approach to fashion.
Rather than simply adopting the established vocabulary of unisex or no gender, the designer questions the categories themselves.
Notes and raw materials traditionally associated with masculine or feminine perfumery are brought together, creating unexpected tensions and new possibilities.
“I dress the individual, not the gender.”
The statement becomes a manifesto.
As in clothing, Pasqualetti treats fragrance as a space where identities can overlap, dissolve and recombine. Masculine and feminine references are not opposites but ingredients in the same creative vocabulary.
The objective is not neutrality.
It is wonder.
NICCOLÒ PASQUALETTI — IN BRIEF
Born in San Miniato, Tuscany, in 1994, Niccolò Pasqualetti studied at IUAV University of Venice and Central Saint Martins in London.
His international experience includes working in New York at The Row and in Paris at Loewe, alongside Jonathan Anderson.
In 2021, he founded his eponymous label and received the Franca Sozzani Award the same year.
His trajectory continued with the Camera Moda Fashion Trust Grant in 2023 and 2024, followed by his selection as a finalist for the LVMH Prize 2024.
Today, Pasqualetti moves between Paris and Tuscany, maintaining close relationships with local artisans while presenting his collections from the runways of Palais de Tokyo to leading international retailers.
With his first fragrance collection, the designer expands that vocabulary once again.
Fashion becomes fragrance.
Craft becomes culture.
Identity becomes olfaction.
